What’s your cancellation policy?

Deposits/Cancellations/Payment

A 50% deposit is required for all rentals over $500.00 and is non refundable if you cancel your order at any time. Also, a 100% fee of the rental price will be charged on any rental if cancelled 3 business days or less of the day of your event.  A 50% charge will be also assessed on tents we take to a delivery site and try to setup and cant because of weather conditions.  Forms of payment accepted are cash, credit card (visa, mc, American express and/or discover) and company check (no personal checks).  If company check is returned unpaid due to non-sufficient funds you will be charged an extra $35 fee.


Delivery and equipment drop off?

Delivery

 

Equipment is delivered on the day of the event date between 9am-5pm Dallas Event Rentals does not make any appointments for a specific time, Dallas Event Rentals will give you a 2hr delivery time frame where you need to be present to sign off on the invoice. Any deliveries before 9:00 am and after 5:00 pm are considered “after hour” services at an after hr delivery rate fee.  Pick ups are done the following business day which on Saturday rentals it could be Sunday or Monday. If you need your  items picked up on a specific day and time this has to be arranged when you place your order.  Please note the office is closed on Sunday. Rentals will only be delivered either to the garage if alley is not available to access the back yard, or front door or front garage door (if the only access to your backyard is through a side gate the drivers will not take the items to the back yard and will only drop off by that gate as it is very difficult to roll carts through grass) for residence deliveries. Dance floors and tents will be set up. Extra fee may apply if our delivery guys have to walk 25ft or more from where the delivery van is located to where the items need to be dropped off – or if they have to take items up the stairs, this fee will be assessed at the drivers’ discretion upon arrival to deliver if it is not specified at reservation time.  If the delivery is to a business/commercial location and the drivers have to go up any amount of stairs or the freight elevators are more than 20ft from where the truck driver can unload or if the suite they are dropping off at is far from the elevator once they reach your floor you may be charged an extra charge.


Equipment not working properly or damage equipment?

PLEASE CALL 214-484-2489 IF THERE IS ANY MALFUNCTION OR DAMAGE ON ANY RENTAL ITEMS AND LEAVE A MESSAGE ON OUR VOICE MAIL SO WE CAN HAVE A CHANCE TO FIX THE PROBLEM.  THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS ON ANY RENTAL ITEMS UNLESS WE ARE NOTIFIED THE DAY OF THE EVENT AT THE POINT IT IS DETERMINED THERE IS A PROBLEM.

Damage/Loss Responsibility

 You as the customer are responsible for any damage of the item(s) that are rented.  Items while in your care are your complete responsibility and you are responsible for any damage, theft or misuse of these items.

Dishware and Glassware Return Policy

At the time of Pick Up, our drivers will check all dinnerware and glassware to ensure they are returned clean and in good condition. We kindly request that all items be washed and dried prior to our arrival for pickup. If any dinnerware or glassware is found to be dirty, the drivers will not pick up the dirty equipment. There will be an extra pick up fee for having to come back at a later time. If equipment is not clean at the second pick up trip, an extra cleaning fee will be assessed to cover the additional cleaning required plus the extra pick up fee.. We appreciate your cooperation. Waiver -- We the renters (Dallas Event Rentals/D-VP Rentals) are not responsible for any damage or injury caused to the customer.  The customer will use items properly and be solely responsible for any injury caused by our rentals.  *  All extra fees will be charged to credit card on file.   **By signing this agreement and waiver you agree to all the terms and conditions listed above.
