Q: What's the main difference between the three models?
A: Size and cooling coverage. The Cyclone 120 is the most portable for small areas. The 16" is our versatile mid-size workhorse. The 36" is our largest unit for big spaces like major event tents.

Q: Can I use these indoors?
A: They can be used in large, well-ventilated indoor spaces (like open warehouses). They add moisture to the air, so they are not ideal for standard enclosed rooms with drywall.

Q: Is customer pick-up available to save money?
A: No. We operate as a delivery-only service to ensure safe handling and equipment quality. We do not have a public showroom for customer pick-up.

Q: How much water do they use?
A: All models have internal reservoirs you fill. The 16" and 36" models can also be connected to a garden hose for continuous operation. We provide guidance based on the model you rent.

Q: What kind of power outlet is needed?
A: All models plug into a standard 115v/120v household electrical outlet (110v-120v). No special wiring is needed.

Q: How far in advance should I book for a summer weekend?
A: Port-A-Cools are in high demand from May through September. We recommend booking at least 2-3 weeks in advance for weekend rentals.

Q: Are they difficult to move?
A: The Cyclone 120 is very portable. The 16" and 36" models are on heavy-duty industrial casters and can be rolled by one person on smooth surfaces.
